Son Doong Cave or Mountain River Cave was a largest cave in the world. This cave located at Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, Bo Tach District, Quang Binh Province, Vietnam. This cave name are taken because there is one large fast-flowing river inside of the cave. This cave was found by a local man name Ho-Kanh at 1991. This cave are only known to the world at 2009.
The biggest chamber in this Son Doong cave is more than five kilometres long, 200 metres high and 150 metres wide. With this dimension, Son Doong overtakes Deer Cave in Malaysia to take the title of the largest cave in the world. The exit of this cave was only found a group of scientist in 2010.
In early August 2013 this year, the first tourist group explored the cave on a guided tour at cost US$3000 each. The group had six members from Australia, Norway, Russia, USA and UK and spent 7 days 6 nights for the tour.
